Nebraska's Humane Society bills itself as "Nebraska's Voice for Animals," and the society welcomes new residents to the area, and invites you to tour the facilities and adopt a new pet today.
Location and Hours
The Nebraska Humane Society is located at 8929 Fort Street in Omaha. Its adoption hours are Noon-7pm Tuesdays through Fridays, 10am-4pm Saturdays, and Noon-4pm Sundays, and you need to start your adoption at least 1/2 hour before closing. The Humane Society has all types of animals available for adoption, from dogs and cats to horses and rodents.
