Map of Nebraska CitiesPosted by admin in Map of Nebraska Cities |

Looking at a Nebraska map reveals a state with many unique and interesting cities. Nicknamed the Cornhusker State, it is the 16th largest state in the Union but ranks 38th in population and there is not one single, large metropolis but, rather, many smaller sized cities. Located on the Great Plains, the map reveals a state that is rectangular in shape with a small square cut out of its’ southwestern corner. Although it is completely land locked, it contains more miles of rivers than in any other state.
The majority of the population lives in the eastern part of the state and the biggest city, Omaha, is located on the Missouri River which serves as Nebraska’s eastern border. With a population of close to a half million people, it is the state’s industrial, cultural, and transportation hub. On the riverfront, there are fine restaurants, shops, and many water activities.
