Time is of the essence at the Nebraska DMV, as new residents have 30 days to obtain a new resident Driver's License, Title, and Registration for all applicable vehicles brought into the State of Nebraska. In addition, certain vehicles are required to undergo a thorough inspection.
In order to obtain a new driver's license, a new resident must visit the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles location in their county to fill out a driver's license application and present valid proof of identification. Proof of identification would be your current driver's license or other acceptable personal identification including your full name and date-of-birth.
